Born in Denver, Colorado to a Dad who owned a Brick Construction business. His Mom who was a Human Resourcing Coordinator. Joel grew up learning many lessons about life, faith, progressing ahead, and learning from those around him.
Nothing came easy for him all through his formative and young adult life. There were many hard challenges he faced with some that should have taken his life-- diabetes, car accidents, near death from West Nile to name a few. Yet he was mentored by College professors, fellow students, family members and his wife learning to overcome and adapt so that all these things would not hold him back in living by taking the next steps forward each time.
Joel has worked in many occupations, but has been primarily a pastor, college adjunct professor, and over the last number of years a sought after Coach/Counselor helping
